Group Sessions Supporting Recovery and Preventing Addiction
Description
We are excited to add our Mindful Unique Peer Recovery & Prevention Program offering group therapy sessions for the support and prevention of drug abuse and addiction. We will provide information on the fundamentals of addiction, Narcan & Narcan training, mentoring, wellness support, healthy lifestyle techniques, substance use trends, self-care and healing, career and financial development. Group therapy is one of the most effective forms of therapy. Learning from the experiences of others who are in the same or similar situations can accelerate the healing process in realizing we aren't alone. Our group therapy brings people together in a safe space, and empowers them to connect, collaborate & share. Sessions are FREE OF CHARGE, and will be held monthly from 5:00pm to 7:00pm starting August 28th. Come to one or all...we look forward to seeing you!

Cancellation Policy
• To receive a full credit to use on another class, cancellations or changes on any reservation must be made 7 days prior to the start of class. • If cancellation is made after the 7-day period is up, the credit will be reduced 30%. • This credit can be used toward the registration fee for any future class or workshop within one year of the date the credit was issued. • We do not refund any monies. We will only credit your account. • If cancellation is done 24 hours prior to, or on the day of, there will be no refund or credit issued. • Missed Classes: If you have missed a group class, our helpers/volunteers will catch you up in the following class. Please contact us to find out more about makeup options. • Makeup classes are up to our discretion and will be treated on a case-by-case basis. • If IAU cancels an event, you will receive a full refund within 1-5 days of the cancellation.
