IAU's Therapeutic Sewing Course

As women we must make sure we find ways to stay mentally healthy. Sewing is a great skill and a perfect way to do just that. We are offering a beginner's sewing course. The course is 4 weekly classes, every Tuesday in June from 5pm- 7pm, starting June 6th. On the 4th and final week, you will walk away with your very own handmade craft. There is a $60 course fee which includes materials and light refreshments during each class. Waivers must be completed and will be collected at entry before classes start. Children 12 & over are welcome to take the course as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Adult must sign a waiver on their behalf. Look forward to seeing you June 6th!

Cancelation Policy

• To receive a full credit to use on another class, cancellations or changes on any reservation must be made 7 days prior to the start of class. • If cancellation is made after the 7-day period is up, the credit will be reduced 30%. • This credit can be used toward the registration fee for any future class or workshop within one year of the date the credit was issued. • We do not refund any monies. We will only credit your account. • If cancellation is done 24 hours prior to, or on the day of, there will be no refund or credit issued. • Missed Classes: If you have missed a group class, our helpers/volunteers will catch you up in the following class. Please contact us to find out more about makeup options. • Makeup classes are up to our discretion and will be treated on a case-by-case basis. • If IAU cancels an event, you will receive a full refund within 1-5 days of the cancellation.
